The story follows the chilling tale of Sarkata, a headless spirit said to roam the villages of Orissa. Legend has it that Sarkata was a once-powerful sorcerer who was cursed to roam the earth without his head for betraying his people. The spirit now seeks vengeance and is said to be able to possess living beings, turning them into his minions. The villages are haunted by inexplicable occurrences and grisly murders. A group of locals, led by a sceptical historian and a young, ambitious journalist, must unravel the mystery behind Sarkata’s curse and find a way to end his reign of terror.
